Meet me

Hi!

I’m Michela (she/her), a Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga teacher and
Chan (Zen) meditation facilitator.

I have over 3 years experience teaching both in-studio and private classes.

In June 2024, I completed the 550+ hours Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga teacher training with Tatjana Mesar. During the training I learned anatomy with
Diana Thielen, got advanced Buddhism lectures from Karmen Mihalinec and practiced with Chan Master
Zarko Andricevic in the Chan Retreat Center Hartovski Vrh / Croatia.

How it started

I first encountered Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga in 2018 while recovering from shoulder and hip injuries following an intensive aerial acrobatic workshop.

As a teenager, I had already experienced how yoga and the observation of my breath helped me coping with my anxiety before cello performances and concerts. With this memory in mind, I then started to try different Yoga styles.

In Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga, I found a practice that brings me in closer contact with my body and above that helps me find more clarity in life.

YOGA

What I appreciate from Dynamic Mindfulness is playfulness, the non-dogmatic approach and the self inquiry in the practice (on and off the mat). All of that changed my way of looking at the world and interactions with people in a way that authentically reflects who I am.

For my classes, I also draw inspiration from the work of Bo Forbes, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Sadie Nardini, Jillian Pransky and Raknamycs.

BESIDES YOGA

Off the mat you can find me doing a variety of things: attending Social and Cultural Anthropology university seminars, playing cello, tasting the new pizza places with friends, visiting architectures, walking in nature or relaxing in Gong Baths.
I'm a very curious person!
